As long as the boat goes ……..

It has to be sure and built well and it must respect the standard of security. Of course the user in Chioggia would be the marine, and he must trust the manufacturer, but a way to ensure the security is the presence of the CE marking.

Of course it is not the brand that will keep it afloat, although it is printed on a label of plastic, but instead a scrupulous project attent to the safety, an appropriate execution related to the importance of the boat, the tests which highlight any defects that will ensure the voyage during the use of our boat.

Hello I have a 2006 Boston Whaler 17 Montauk and require CE certificate because i am exporting it to Greece. How do i go about getting one? Thank you

  2. Hello.
Before getting the boat you should ask the seller or the boatyard if there is a Declaration of Conformity about the boat to the CE standard. If there is this Declaration, things will be far easier. Otherwise you must ask for a visit by engineers of a Notified Body, like the R.i.n.a. (www.rina.org). This will take much more money (it maybe about 5000€ and it is better to know this before buy the boat). I hope I was helpful. Best regards
